As the final season of CBS’s hit police drama SWAT approaches its conclusion, star Shemar Moore has shared with fans the one special item he chose to keep as a memento from his years on set.

In a recent Instagram post, Moore showed appreciation to luxury watchmaker MTM Watch for their continued partnership throughout the show’s run. The actor revealed that out of everything from the production, a watch was the single keepsake he selected to remember his time as Sergeant Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson.

“Ayyeee!!! Showing love to @mtmwatch for rockin’ with me on SWAT for season after season!!!” Moore wrote in his caption. “You know ya boy had to take one thing home from set as a memento and this watch was that ONE Thing 💯👊🏽💪🏽”

The image shows Moore displaying what appears to be a tactical timepiece from MTM, a brand known for their rugged, military-style watches that perfectly matched his character’s tough, action-oriented role on the series.

Moore’s Journey With SWAT

Shemar Moore has led the SWAT cast since the show premiered in 2017. The series, a reboot of the 1975 television series and 2003 film of the same name, has followed Moore’s character Hondo as he leads a specialized tactical unit in Los Angeles.

The role came after Moore’s successful 11-year run on Criminal Minds as FBI agent Derek Morgan. His portrayal of Hondo has earned him praise for bringing depth and charisma to the action-heavy police drama.

The Legacy Of Swat

As SWAT prepares to conclude after seven successful seasons, Moore’s choice of memento reflects the significance the show has had on his career. The MTM watch represents not just a prop from the set but a symbol of the time he invested in bringing Hondo to life.

The series has maintained a dedicated fanbase throughout its run, with Moore at its center as the charismatic team leader who navigates complex situations with both tactical expertise and emotional intelligence.

While fans will certainly miss seeing Moore as Hondo, his social media suggests he’s embracing the conclusion of this chapter while looking forward to what comes next in both his professional and personal life.

For now, viewers can still catch the remaining episodes of SWAT on CBS as the series builds toward what promises to be a memorable finale.
