Netflix’s boundary-pushing animated comedy series “Big Mouth” is giving fans one last chance to get up close and personal with the show before it concludes its run. The Instagram announcement, shared through the show’s official account, invites fans across America to join “one last hurrah” before the series wraps up. The post reads: “Get ready, America… Big Mouth is about to swallow you whole. We’re hitting the road for one last hurrah and YOU’RE ALL INVITED.”

The tour will visit five major US cities in May:
– Dallas on May 5
– Tampa on May 8
– Chicago on May 13
– Denver on May 16
– San Francisco on May 19

According to the announcement, the events will feature guest appearances from the show’s cast and characters, exclusive merchandise, and special advanced screenings of brand-new episodes from the upcoming final season. The farewell tour leads directly into the premiere of “Big Mouth” season 8, the show’s final installment. Netflix has set May 23 as the release date for the series conclusion.

This announcement follows an Instagram post that revealed the final season would feature an impressive lineup of guest stars, including Cynthia Erivo, Holly Hunter, Steve Buscemi, and “many more.” The post was captioned “The big finish,” signaling the show’s creators are planning a memorable conclusion to the series.

“Big Mouth,” co-created by Nick Kroll, Andrew Goldberg, Mark Levin, and Jennifer Flackett, premiered on Netflix in 2017. The adult animated comedy follows a group of teenagers navigating the awkward and often surreal journey through puberty, with hormone monsters and other personified emotions guiding (and sometimes misguiding) them along the way.

Nick Kroll, who voices multiple characters including Nick Birch and the Hormone Monster, has been the face of the series both on and off screen. Beyond “Big Mouth,” he’s known for “The League,” “Kroll Show,” and his Broadway show “Oh, Hello” with John Mulaney.

Fans have responded enthusiastically to the farewell tour announcement, with many expressing excitement for the events and sadness that the beloved series is ending. The irreverent adult comedy has built a dedicated following over its run for its frank and humorous approach to adolescence and puberty.

The announcement’s characteristically adult humor shines through in the tour’s description, promising to visit “a city, a titty, or a dirty little town near you,” maintaining the show’s signature blend of juvenile humor and surprising emotional depth that has defined its approach throughout its run.

Tickets for the farewell tour events are available through a link in the “Big Mouth” Instagram bio. Fans interested in attending will want to secure their spots quickly, as these final events celebrating the series sell out.
