Jason Faunt, best known for portraying Wes Collins, aka Time Force Red Ranger, in the “Power Rangers Time Force” series, has announced his upcoming appearance in Peru alongside fellow Power Rangers star Brennan Mejia. The duo will attend the Día del Comic Festival next weekend as special guests.

In his Instagram post, Faunt shared a video showing himself and Mejia in a promotional graphic for the upcoming event, presented by the fan account Oh.MyGhost admin. The post invited fans with a simple message: “See you there!” while tagging the festival’s official account.

From Time Force To International Conventions

This Peru appearance continues Faunt’s active presence on the convention circuit. The actor has been regularly meeting fans at various comic and pop culture events worldwide. Just recently, he attended C2E2 in Chicago, where he joined other Power Rangers alumni including Nakia Burrise, Michael Copon, and Catherine Sutherland at their booth.

Before that, Faunt was also spotted at Galaxy Con Richmond alongside fellow Rangers cast members, inviting fans to meet them at their booth. These convention appearances have become a significant part of his career since his time on the popular series.

The Legacy Of The Red Ranger

Jason Faunt has embraced his Power Rangers legacy with enthusiasm. In a recent Instagram post, he showcased his original Red Ranger suit display in his office, expressing nostalgia about his time on the show: “Still blown away on how this continues decades later to be such a big part of my life- such nostalgia and amazing memories…”

The actor portrayed Wesley “Wes” Collins, the Red Time Force Ranger, in the 2001 season of the franchise. Faunt has reprised his role multiple times over the years in various Power Rangers crossover episodes and anniversary specials, cementing his place in the franchise’s history.

Appearing with him at the event is his co-star, Brennan Mejia, known for playing Tyler Navarro, the Red Dino Charge Ranger in “Power Rangers Dino Charge” (2015-2016), continuing the legacy of Red Rangers in the long-running franchise.

Beyond The Ranger Suit

While Faunt continues to embrace his Power Rangers fame, he has also been pursuing other projects in his acting career. He recently celebrated winning Best Actor in a Short Film for his performance in “An Old Friend,” directed by Nuk Suwanchote.

The award recognized his “layered, heartfelt portrayal” as a character named Calvin in what’s described as “an emotional and unforgettable short film about memory, purpose, and letting go.”

Connecting With The Ranger Fandom

Power Rangers conventions and fan events have become an important way for actors from the franchise to connect with their dedicated fanbase. The series, which began in 1993, has maintained a strong following across multiple generations, with many original viewers now introducing their children to the show.

For fans in Peru, the upcoming Día del Comic Festival represents a rare opportunity to meet two different generations of Red Rangers in person. These events typically include autograph sessions, photo opportunities, and panel discussions where fans can hear behind-the-scenes stories from their favorite shows.

When not attending conventions, Faunt keeps busy with both acting projects and personal ventures. He recently announced a partnership with Club Studio Fitness, sharing his enthusiasm for health and wellness. He’s also an avid traveler, often posting about trips with his wife, Angela Levia.

The Día del Comic Festival in Peru promises to be another memorable stop on Faunt’s continuing journey with the Power Rangers franchise, allowing South American fans the chance to meet a performer who has been part of the beloved series for over two decades.
