Fan Reaction Floods Social Channels

“We love you all. ❤️‍🩹 What a gift that you are here! Thank you for listening to the new tune. All the comments on YouTube, here, and the conversations we’ve been having on Substack have meant the world to us and have had us in tears multiple times. 🥹” the band wrote in a post featuring candid shots by photographer Abby Stanford (@abbystanfordx).

Since its release, the track has generated thousands of YouTube comments and inspired long threads on the band’s Substack page. Listeners praise the sisters’ signature three-part harmonies and introspective lyrics, noting how the song feels both fresh and true to the folk-pop heart of their earlier work.

Getting Personal On Substack

Natalie Closner Schepman took the conversation deeper in an Instagram post linking to her Substack essay. She shared a morning-coffee selfie and wrote: “hi 💛 here cheersing you with coffee and my morning face to say I wrote a little something over on Substack about how our new song came to be. link in stories. love you ❤️‍🩹 – natalie” (https://www.instagram.com/p/DJ2A6t3vyWY/).

In that post, she describes late-night writing sessions at their family cabin, how a melody whispered itself into existence, and the moment they realized the song could become a bridge between their past and their future sound. Fans have flooded the comments with questions about the songwriting process, to which the sisters have responded with gratitude and insider anecdotes.

West Coast Tour Tease

Alongside their thank-you note, Joseph hinted at live shows in the Western U.S. “We’ll be on the road soon in the West playing our new song among some oldies and a few other new ones! See you soon! ✨” they wrote, tagging photographer @abbystanfordx for the tour photos.

A previous Instagram tour announcement spelled out the dates for their West Coast run (https://www.instagram.com/p/DJJ8laCxCqE/):
• June 13 – Spokane, WA
• June 14 – Bozeman, MT
• June 15 – Missoula, MT
• June 17 – Boise, ID
• June 18 – Salt Lake City, UT
• June 20 – Boulder, CO
• June 21 – Fort Collins, CO

Expect intimate venues, stripped-back arrangements, and the warm camaraderie Joseph is known for. In April, the sisters wrapped the first leg of their spring tour with a heartfelt post: “and with that, the first leg of this run is done 😭 our hearts are bursting with gratitude. thank you thank you thank you.” (https://www.instagram.com/p/DJj921gRvkg/).

Joseph originally formed in 2014 in Portland, Oregon, and rose to prominence with their 2016 hit “White Flag,” which topped Billboard’s Adult Alternative chart. Their 2019 album Good Luck, Kid reached No. 1 on the Americana/Folk charts, and the group has toured internationally while earning praise for their heartfelt performances and vocal chemistry.

In recent years, they’ve expanded their sound with electronic textures and introspective songwriting, culminating in this latest single that’s already resonating with long-time fans and new listeners alike.

No matter which song they play—old favorite or brand-new release—their live shows promise the same emotional honesty and sisterly harmonies that have become Joseph’s trademark. With the West Coast dates on the horizon, fans are eager to join the sisters on this next chapter of their musical journey.

From candid Substack reflections to tour-ready live shots, Joseph’s gratitude tour is as much about connection as it is about performance. As the sisters gear up for their Western swing, they’re inviting fans old and new to witness the next chapter of their story in person.

Joseph’s new single is now available on all streaming platforms, and tickets for the West Coast shows go on sale this Friday.
