Tour Highlights & Special Guests

Vollebekk’s Australian leg sold out theaters and iconic indie clubs in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. He celebrated one standout night at The Croxton Bandroom, sharing: “Thank you everyone for the SOLD OUT night in Melbourne at @thecroxtonbandroom. You sang so beautifully, the band played pitch perfect and I had the honour of singing a few songs with the impossibly talented @angiemcmahon. The band has flown home and I’m off solo to Auckland for a show tomorrow. One more before I go sleep a bit. ❤️”. Angie McMahon joined Vollebekk for two collaborative performances, including a recognizable Eagles cover that debuted online in June.

In a playful pre-tour teaser, he shared photos of koalas, noting: “Thank you to everyone that listened to my new @eagles cover with the brilliant @angiemcmahon. I’ve received so many touching messages since the release. The Australian (and New Zealand!) tour begins in TWO WEEKS!! In honour of these shows, here are photos of the first koalas I ever saw. X”. The wildlife snapshots gave followers a lighthearted glimpse of his Australian journey.

Revelation Tour Context

These dates are part of Vollebekk’s wider Revelation Tour, supporting his fourth studio album released in February. Revelation earned acclaim for its blend of folk, soul and subtle electronic textures, anchored by his hushed vocal delivery and introspective songwriting. Critics praised tracks like “Golden Ratio” and the reflective title cut for their emotional depth.

Prior to this run, Vollebekk expanded his live resume by opening for Mumford & Sons on their Railroad Revival Tour, performing across North America in late 2022. The inclusive, communal spirit from that tour carried into his solo headline shows, where he often shares stories behind songs mid-set.

About Leif Vollebekk

A three-time Juno Award nominee, Leif Vollebekk first made waves with his 2017 album Twin Solitude, which blended R&B grooves with folk storytelling. Revelation represents his most ambitious production to date, featuring string arrangements and guest vocals. Based in Montreal, he has carved out a reputation for intimate live performances that resonate with fans across genres.

With the Australian leg behind him, Vollebekk will touch down in New Zealand for a handful of shows before returning to North America later this summer. Thanks to the new online shop, supporters worldwide can now secure a piece of the Revelation era for themselves.
