Ledisi Celebrates Release Of Her 14th Album ‘The Crown’
R&B artist shares gratitude as her latest musical offering gains streaming traction.

Grammy Award-winning R&B artist Ledisi has officially released her 14th studio album, “The Crown,” and is expressing deep gratitude to fans and streaming platforms for their support of her latest musical offering.
In a recent Instagram post, the acclaimed vocalist shared her excitement about the album release, writing: “NEW MUSIC ‘The CROWN’ I hope you are enjoying my 14th musical offering! I am so grateful for the support now and throughout the years.” The post shows Ledisi on Amazon Music’s banner, highlighting her new project.
The album appears to be gaining significant traction across major streaming platforms. In previous posts, Ledisi highlighted substantial support from Apple Music and Pandora. Her excitement was evident when she posted about Apple Music featuring “The Crown” with a front-page banner and placement on multiple playlists.
“Wow @applemusic #thecrown On so many playlists front page banner and on socials!!! Thank You @livethebiz @fancydomo & @applemusic THANK YOU! I feel seen. Ledisi Anibade Young, known professionally as Ledisi, has built an impressive career spanning over two decades. She began her career in the late 1990s with the band Anibade before pursuing a solo career. Ledisi has received 14 Grammy Award nominations and won her first Grammy for Best Traditional R&B Performance in 2021 for her single “Anything for You.”
