Upcoming Top Fuel Saloon Show Details

Wayland—the hard-rock outfit often dubbed the Wayland Warriors—and support act Freaksters will light up Top Fuel Saloon on Saturday, July 12. The show kicks off at 8 p.m., with doors opening at 7. Tickets are available now through the band’s Instagram story or directly at waylandtheband.com.

Band’s Summer Midwest Run

This gig is the latest stop on Wayland’s packed summer schedule. On July 11, the group played Little River Casino in Clare, Michigan alongside alternative rock icons Better Than Ezra and Detroit’s own Sponge Detroit.

Looking ahead, Wayland will head to Dubuque, Iowa for a free community show on July 25, teaming up with Too Hot for Leather. Fans can join the celebration at the riverfront stage, promising a high-energy set under the summer sky.

About Wayland

Formed in Wichita, Kansas, in 2013, Wayland blends arena-ready hooks with hard-rock grit. Frontman Mitchell Arnold leads on vocals and rhythm guitar, while Phillip Vilenski unleashes dual-axe riffs. The lineup rounds out with Patrick Hawkins on bass and Tyler Coburn on drums, forging a tight live attack that’s earned them spots on national tours and festivals.

The Freaksters, a quartet out of Chicago, will open the evening. Known for their blend of punk-fueled grooves and hooky choruses, they’ve built a following across Illinois and Wisconsin. Their latest EP, “Midnight Mechanics,” dropped in May and has been streaming steadily on rock radio rotations.

Fans attending the Top Fuel Saloon show can expect a two-hour rock experience featuring material from Wayland’s latest LP, “Welcome to Paradise,” as well as fan favorites like “Highway Home” and “Get Aboard.” The venue’s large outdoor stage and beer garden set the scene for a summer night of live music, cold drinks, and rowdy sing-alongs.

Whether you’ve followed Wayland since their Wichita bar-circuit days or just discovered them via streaming playlists, July 12 at Top Fuel Saloon is shaping up to be one of the season’s must-see Midwest rock events.

The band encourages early arrival—limited VIP packages include a meet-and-greet, exclusive merch, and a signed poster. Standard GA tickets start at $20.

Don’t miss your chance to catch Wayland and Freaksters live. Head to the band’s official website or swipe up in their Instagram story for tickets and on-site info.
