The Temptations Announce 2023 Summer Tour Dates

The Temptations are back on the road this summer, rolling out a 10-city U.S. tour that stretches from the Deep South to New England. Fans can catch the legendary R&B group live as they revisit classic hits and showcase fresh choreography.

Us Summer Tour Kicks Off In Greensboro

The season opener fires up on June 4 at Greensboro’s Tanger Center, followed by June 5 in Birmingham, Alabama, and June 6 under the lights of Robinsonville, Mississippi’s Horseshoe Tunica. On June 7, The Temptations hit the Fox Theatre in Saint Louis, Missouri. This early leg builds on momentum from their May run, which included stops in Richmond, Charlotte, Cherokee and Atlanta.

Coastal And Northeastern Dates

After a mid-summer break, the group returns on August 6 at the Interlochen Center for the Arts in Michigan, then August 7 at the Rose Music Center in Huber Heights, Ohio. Early August stops continue on August 9 in Portsmouth, Virginia, and August 10 at North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The finale runs August 26–27 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, wrapping up on August 28 in Cranston, Rhode Island.

Long before these tour dates were set, The Temptations were making history in Detroit. As one Instagram post from the Motown Museum account recalls, “It started with two Detroit groups, one Classic Motown contract, and five men ready to make history.
