Two generations of Christian music powerhouses are set to light up the Grand Ole Opry stage as part of the Opry100 centennial celebration. On Thursday, June 5th at 7 pm CT, singer-songwriters Steven Curtis Chapman and Brandon Lake will join Kameron Marlowe and more for a special night honoring 100 years of live radio history and country music’s most iconic venue.
Lineup Spotlight
The June 5 show will be hosted by the Grand Ole Opry and the Gospel Music Association, branded #GMAatTheOpry. Fans will see Chapman, whose career spans four decades and includes five Grammy Awards and over 11 million albums sold, sharing the stage with Brandon Lake, the genre-blurring worship artist behind hits like “Gratitude” and “RATTLE!” Kameron Marlowe, fresh off his country radio success, rounds out the announced roster. Additional performers will be revealed in the weeks ahead.
How To Enter The Giveaway
Listeners hoping to score a pair of free tickets can enter a social-media giveaway through Thursday, May 29. To participate:
• Follow @opry and @gmadoveawards on Instagram
• Tag a friend you’d bring in the comments of the giveaway post
• Share the post to your story and tag @gmadoveawards
The winner will be notified on May 29 about the two tickets for the June 5 show.
Chapman’s Milestone Year
Chapman is already marking a major career landmark in 2024. In Instagram posts earlier this spring, he announced his Speechless ’25 Tour, celebrating the 25th anniversary of his 1999 album Speechless. He’ll perform the full record in cities like Charlotte, Atlanta and Greenville—90% of those dates are already sold out. Chapman also dropped a new single called “Speed of Love,” inspired by his late mother, which has been featured on Spotify and Apple Music playlists and added another personal milestone to his catalog.
Brandon Lake’s Rise
Brandon Lake has emerged over the last five years as a driving force in contemporary worship music. A key member of Bethel Music and Maverick City Music, Lake co-wrote the Billboard Hot Christian Songs top-ten hit “Gratitude” and has earned multiple GMA Dove Awards. His 2022 album House of Miracles debuted in the top 20 of the Billboard 200, and his high-energy live performances have made him a sought-after collaborator across both Christian and mainstream festivals.
Opry100 And Christian Music Month
This show is part of a larger GMA partnership celebrating Christian Music Month at the historic Opry. Since its first broadcast on November 28, 1925, the Grand Ole Opry has showcased country, gospel and bluegrass acts on WSM Radio in Nashville. The Opry100 series runs from June through November, highlighting landmark performances across genres and inviting new audiences to experience “the show that made country music famous.”
As June 5 approaches, fans are gearing up for a night that blends century-old tradition with today’s biggest Christian hits. Whether you snag tickets through the giveaway or grab them at the box office, this Opry100 date promises a slate of inspirational anthems and career-spanning hits from two generations of faith-driven artists.
