Nikka Costa, the Los Angeles–based funk and soul powerhouse, has just unveiled her six-city U.S. summer tour. In an Instagram post captioned “The chill before the tour…,” the Grammy-nominated singer urged fans to grab tickets now via the link in her Stories. Beginning May 25 and wrapping June 2, Costa will bring her signature blend of disco, soul and dance to venues from Nashville to New York.
Tour Dates And Venues

May 28 – St. Louis, MO | City Winery
May 30 – Cincinnati, OH | The Woodward Theater
June 1 – Pittsburgh, PA | City Winery

Each City Winery stop is known for its intimate setting, letting concertgoers get up close to Costa’s dynamic stage presence. For her Cincinnati date, Costa moves to The Woodward Theater—a 700-capacity venue celebrated for its throwback décor and roaring sound.
Warm-up In Los Angeles
Before this tour launches, Costa hit The Roxy in West Hollywood on April 30. In a pre-show post, she teased fans: “Almost showtime! Roxy LA TONIGHT! Last LA show for a hot minute, come out y’all! Link in stories xxx.” Goldenvoice even offered a surprise 2-for-1 ticket link to her sold-out Roxy show, fueling early buzz.
Chicago Collab With Liam Taylor
Costa will share the stage May 27 in Chicago with multi-instrumentalist Liam Taylor. An earlier Instagram snapshot from that date shows the duo mid-performance at City Winery, guitars in hand and smiles lighting up the crowd. Fans who’ve seen Costa live compare her high-energy vocals and funky grooves to the late ’70s disco era—“dirty disco,” as she calls it.
A Legacy Of Soulful Groove
Born in Tokyo to Motown session vocalist Don Costa and rock singer Terry Ray Costa, Nikka emerged as a child prodigy, cutting her first record at age five. She broke through internationally with 2001’s Everybody Got Their Something, produced by Justin Stanley. Over two decades, she’s balanced her funk-charged roots with jazz and pop influences—earning acclaim for tracks like “Like a Feather” and recent releases under her own N.C. Records.
Fans praise Costa’s live shows for spontaneous medleys and extended dance jams. A 2022 EP, Dirty Disco, reaffirmed her disco-inspired direction, while 2021’s Nikki & Strings, Vol. 1 showcased her flair for orchestral arrangements. This summer tour promises a setlist spanning her catalog—from early hits to deep cuts and fresh dancefloor anthems.
Tickets And Fan Access
Tickets are on sale via nikkacosta.com and the link in Costa’s Instagram Stories. Early-bird and VIP packages include meet-and-greets, exclusive merch bundles and a soundcheck livestream option for out-of-town followers. Fans are advised to secure seats soon, as City Winery stops have historically sold out within days of announcement.
Costa’s tour comes as live music rebounds nationwide, and she’ll be part of several summer festivals later this year. For those craving a night of soulful grooves, rolling basslines and disco-era flair, Nikka Costa’s six-city swing is not to be missed.
