On May 21, Santa Fe’s horror-comedy metal outfit Nekrogoblikon rolled into Columbus, Ohio, for a sold-out night at King of Clubs. The band’s official Instagram handle posted, “Thanks Detroit! Columbus, OH tonight with @revocation, @ovsulfur, and @brat_band! 📸: @camerongile,” along with a series of high-energy photos capturing the action.
Show Me Your Goblin Tour Kicks Into Gear
The Columbus date marked the second week of the “Show Me Your Goblin Tour,” which launched on May 8 in Roseville, California. Over the next five weeks, Nekrogoblikon and touring partners Revocation, Ov Sulfur, and BRAT will visit more than twenty cities. Highlights include Pittsburgh’s Thunderbird (May 22), where tickets are already running low, and Worcester’s Palladium (May 23), which is “moving fast.” From Detroit’s Majestic Theatre (May 20) to Los Angeles’ 1720 (June 13), the lineup covers major U.S. markets.
Stage Shenanigans And Fan Highlights
Photographer Cameron Gile’s snapshots reveal elaborate goblin costumes, strobing lights, and enthusiastic crowds. In one image, frontman Nicholas Andrew Sadler—complete with green face paint—locks eyes with a pit-side fan mid-scream. Another shot shows the band’s signature keyboard-knitted “Goblin King” avatar towering above a sea of headbangers. Each photo underscores the group’s blend of theatrical horror and breakneck musicianship.
Behind The Goblin Mask
Formed in 2006 in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Nekrogoblikon fuses melodic death metal riffs with tongue-in-cheek humor. The current touring lineup features Sadler (vocals), Teddy Fredrickson Johnson (guitar), Alex Alereza (drums), and others. The trek supports their fifth studio album, Return of the Goblin King, released October 2022. Their signature mix of blast beats, symphonic keyboards, and interactive stage antics has earned them a devoted following across North America and Europe.
