Venue And Dates
Sloss Furnaces, a former pig iron-producing blast furnace turned National Historic Landmark, provides the dramatic industrial backdrop for Iron Hills Country Festival. Gates open on Friday, October 11, and Saturday, October 12, with multiple stages hosting back-to-back sets from midday into the evening. Birmingham locals and traveling fans can expect a mix of veteran stars and rising acts amidst the sandstone ruins and rusted ironwork.
Festival co-founders emphasized the goal of creating an immersive roots-music experience. In a statement they said, “Iron Hills Country brings together traditional and progressive voices in one of the South’s most iconic industrial venues.” The two-day event is produced by iHeartCountry and iHeartMedia, marking their first multi-artist country festival in Alabama.
