Martin Bounces Back After Texas Bus Crash

Last month, Grammy-nominated rocker Bryan Martin faced a sudden tour disruption when a hit-and-run collision left his touring bus undrivable. In an Instagram post dated May 15, Martin wrote, “Sometimes things happen beyond your control. As we were headed to Texas for our shows this weekend, someone ran into the back of our bus and drove off. Everyone is safe, but the bus is unable to be driven. We’ve exhausted all options and have made the difficult choice to reschedule tonight’s show in Orange Grove, TX and tomorrow night in Terrell, TX. We’re sorry for any inconvenience this causes you. Thanks to all of y’all for the support🤟.”

What’s Next: The Carolinas Run

After a brief pause for repairs, Martin is back on the road and steering his tour toward North and South Carolina this weekend. The Carolina leg spans four dates: Charlotte on Friday, Raleigh on Saturday, Greenville on Sunday and Columbia next Wednesday. His latest album, Wild Heart Revival, has climbed to No. 12 on Billboard’s Top Rock Albums chart, setting a strong backdrop for this run.

On Wednesday, Martin shared a new update on Instagram alongside a photo of himself leaning against the freshly repaired tour bus at a roadside stop. Decked out in a leather jacket, jeans and his trademark guitar slung over his shoulder, he flashed a thumbs-up in front of the highway scenery.

How Fans Can Join The Pre-show

In that same post, Martin teased an interactive twist for this weekend’s Carolina shows. “Back on the road to the Carolinas this weekend… Hit the link in my bio for the pre-show experience and hang out with me before the shows.. See y’all there 🤘,” he captioned. Fans who click the Instagram bio link will be directed to Martin’s exclusive StageDoor platform, where he’ll livestream a 15-minute acoustic Q&A, share behind-the-scenes soundcheck clips and answer fan questions in real time.

Martin first tested the digital meet-up format during last month’s Texas run before the crash. Early adopters praised the platform for its casual vibe and direct access. One attendee noted, “It felt like grabbing a backstage beer with him.”

Tickets for the Carolina shows remain available through TicketMaster and at each venue’s box office. VIP packages include in-person meet-and-greets, signed merch and access to Martin’s private soundcheck sessions. Standard ticket holders can still opt into the online pre-show by signing up through his Instagram bio.

With the bus back in service and a new fan-focused experience on the table, Martin is poised to turn last month’s setback into an energized chapter of his ongoing tour. Each stop promises a blend of hits from Wild Heart Revival, crowd favorites from his earlier catalog and a few surprise covers.
He wraps the weekend with a free post-show live stream on Instagram Live in Columbia—a gesture he calls his way of saying thanks for all the support on this leg of the journey.
