Legendary rocker Bret Michaels is buzzing with excitement about four major events happening in his world right now. The Poison frontman shared a photo alongside his longtime guitarist Pistol Pete Evick, with both musicians clearly energized for their packed schedule ahead.
Topping Michaels’ list of exciting events is tonight’s concert in Pearl, Mississippi, where he’ll be performing alongside 80s rock icons Warrant as part of the Pearl Day celebrations. This performance kicks off a busy weekend for the musician, who will then head to Biloxi, Mississippi the following night.
The Biloxi show at the Crawfish Music Festival promises to be another highlight, featuring Michaels on a lineup with alternative rock band Everclear and the folk-rock group Sister Hazel. This festival appearance continues Michaels’ tradition of bringing high-energy performances to fans across the country.
The third item on Michaels’ excitement list reveals his geeky side – the 20th anniversary re-release of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. In his post, Michaels playfully mentions that his guitarist Pete Evick convinced him to bring along his lightsaber and hooded cape, showing the rock star’s enthusiasm for one of cinema’s most beloved franchises.
Rounding out his list of current passions is the NFL Draft, which Michaels mentioned as his fourth point of excitement. The rocker is a well-known sports enthusiast, particularly when it comes to football. In a recent post just days ago, he shared his anticipation for the draft, noting that he was “excited to hear my friend Jay Glazer give his insights on Fox Sports Radio” and asked fans about their draft picks.
Michaels concluded his energetic post with an encouraging message to fans: “Remember – stand strong, rock on and remain unbroken, my friends, and let’s continue to rock the world!!!”
The Mississippi shows are just part of Michaels’ packed touring schedule for 2024. According to his recent social media updates, he has several major events on the horizon.
Just recently, Michaels announced he’ll be bringing his record-setting Parti-Gras tour to Stockbridge, Georgia on May 31st, with special guests Lupe Fiasco and Chapel Hart Band at the VyStar Amphitheater.
He’s also set to perform in North Carolina this summer, bringing Poison hits alongside special guests Quiet Riot to Morris Farm Back 40 Live in Currituck on July 24th.
Looking further ahead, fans can catch Michaels on the high seas in February 2026, when he joins The 80s Cruise for what promises to be an ultimate celebration of 80s music and culture while sailing through the Caribbean.
As he continues his touring schedule, Michaels maintains the same energy and enthusiasm that has defined his career for decades. Whether performing Poison classics, celebrating Star Wars, or cheering on his favorite NFL prospects, Bret Michaels remains a consummate entertainer who connects with fans across multiple interests and generations.
