Corn Queen Steps Into The Spotlight
Hailey Whitters is inviting fans to celebrate the launch of her latest record, Corn Queen, on June 6 at Spotify House in Nashville during CMA Fest. In a recent Instagram post, the country singer wrote, “come celebrate Corn Queen Album release with me at #spotifyhouse 6/6 during CMA fest! 🌽👸🏼 @spotify,” promising a night of exclusive performances, meet-and-greets, and limited-edition swag.
About Corn Queen
Corn Queen, released June 2 on Pigasus Records, marks Whitters’s third studio album and her first under a global distribution partnership. The 12-track set weaves playful metaphors of crop seasons and small-town traditions with lyrical honesty. Lead single “Everything She Ain’t” earned Whitters her first Billboard Country Airplay Top 20 hit, while streaming favorites like “Watermelon Moonshine” have already surpassed five million plays.
Cma Fest Returns To Downtown Nashville
The Country Music Association’s annual festival returns to downtown Nashville from June 6–11, drawing more than 80,000 fans to free stages on Broadway and surrounding blocks. Among the sponsored showcases is Spotify House, a marquee pop-up venue at Marathon Music Works. According to Spotify Newsroom, Spotify House has spotlighted emerging talents like Ingrid Andress and Tenille Townes in prior years, offering listening sessions, artist chats, and surprise guest appearances.
Celebrate At Spotify House
On opening night, Spotify House will host Hailey Whitters as its headliner, with a curated setlist pulled directly from Corn Queen. Attendees will enjoy an intimate Q&A, merch giveaways, and the chance to win signed vinyl. Spotify’s team will also roll out specialty cocktails, photo opportunities with themed backdrops, and a VIP lounge for select guests. Doors open at 7 PM CT on June 6; passes are separate from general CMA Fest admission but available via Spotify’s event page.
Spotify’s Take On Emerging Country Talent
Spotify Newsroom quoted Jeff Daniel, Head of Country at Spotify, praising Whitters’s rise. “Hailey’s storytelling resonates with country fans worldwide,” Daniel said in a statement. “Our goal with Spotify House is to create authentic moments that bring emerging artists closer to their audience.”
Fan Event At Grimey’s Record Store
Whitters doubled down on fan engagement with an Instagram announcement on June 1, inviting Nashville locals to Grimey’s Record Store for an album-signing party. “calling all Nashville folk! I’m hosting a shindig with my friends Grimey’s on album release day 6/6! Going to do live performance + album signing and only admission fee is a preordered copy of ‘Corn Queen’!!” she shared, tagging Grimey’s Records. The shop, a fixture on 18th Avenue South since 1975, will host the event at 5 PM CT. Fans must pre-order the album via Whitters’s website to secure entry, with each ticket package including a signed CD or vinyl pressing.
Collaborations And Songwriting Highlights
Corn Queen underscores Whitters’s multifaceted talent, but she’s also made waves as a collaborator this spring. In April, she teamed up with Charles Godwin for “Dysfunctional Love Song,” a duet that has been climbing the Americana charts. Additionally, Whitters received songwriting credit on Jon Pardi’s recently released “Honkytonk Hollywood,” a track she co-wrote alongside Hillary Lindsey and Pardi, further cementing her reputation in Nashville’s writing community.
Looking Ahead After Cma Fest
As Corn Queen gains traction across streaming platforms and live venues, Whitters is gearing up for a summer concert rollout. A full tour announcement is expected later this month, with stops at regional festivals and theaters. Fans can stay updated via her official site and social media channels. With both intimate pop-up appearances and indie-store celebrations, Whitters is cultivating a personal connection with her audience—proof that country’s future is as much about heart as it is about headliners.
