Actor and woodworking enthusiast Nick Offerman has announced the world premiere of his new film “Sovereign” at the upcoming Tribeca Festival while simultaneously declaring a humorous “beef” with his young co-star Jacob Tremblay.

In his Instagram post, Offerman shared his excitement about the film while playfully challenging the Canadian child actor. The image shows a promotional poster or still from the film “Sovereign.”

“I’m powerfully proud of this film from @cswegal and @moceri despite my beef with Canadian marmot whelp @jacobtremblay – when anybody shows up that talented and handsome, I can only take it as an affront. Gauntlet thrown, son,” Offerman wrote with his characteristic dry humor.

Film Premiere Details

The world premiere of “Sovereign” is scheduled for Sunday, June 8, at 8 pm at the SVA Theatre in New York City, as part of the Tribeca Festival. Tickets are available through the Tribeca Film Festival’s official website.

About Jacob Tremblay

For those unfamiliar with the subject of Offerman’s joking rivalry, Jacob Tremblay is a Canadian actor who gained widespread recognition for his breakthrough performance in the critically acclaimed film “Room” (2015). Despite his young age, Tremblay has established himself as one of Hollywood’s most talented child actors, with notable performances in films such as “Wonder,” “Good Boys,” and “Doctor Sleep.”

Offerman’s humorous jab at Tremblay’s talent and good looks is meant as a compliment disguised as mock indignation, suggesting the young actor’s impressive abilities on screen.
