Joy Villa, the singer, actress and conservative activist known for her headline-grabbing political fashion statements, has landed in Austin, Texas, ahead of her birthday celebration and the premiere of her upcoming film’s trailer.

“Howdy, TEXAS! 🤠 WE HERE!” Villa enthusiastically announced on Instagram, sharing an image of herself smiling while wearing sunglasses. The post confirms her arrival in the Lone Star State with friends Natalia Wolf and Jenny Luv, who were tagged in the caption alongside hashtags.

Villa’s trip to Austin coincides with a special birthday celebration she’s hosting for fans. According to her recent Instagram announcements, the event is scheduled for Sunday, April 27th, at a private residence in Austin. The intimate gathering will include lunch, a live taping of The Joy Villa Show, and a book signing with photo opportunities for attendees.

However, the centerpiece of the celebration appears to be the world premiere of the official trailer for “Breaking Shadows” – a film in which Villa stars as Jean Marie Davis, a survivor of human trafficking.

In a previous post, Villa described the upcoming film as telling “the harrowing true story of Jean Marie Davis — trafficked for 20 years and now standing boldly to share her story of survival, faith, and ultimate freedom.”

The film, directed by Antonio Sabàto Jr. and produced by Natalia Wolf (who is accompanying Villa on her Texas trip), aims to shine a light on the dark reality of human trafficking while delivering a message of hope and redemption.

While her music career includes several independent releases, she gained national prominence through her politically-themed fashion choices at major award shows. Most notably, Villa has worn dresses supporting conservative causes at the Grammy Awards, including a “Make America Great Again” dress in 2017 that dramatically increased her music sales. She has also worn pro-life and “Build the Wall” themed outfits to subsequent award ceremonies, cementing her reputation as an outspoken conservative voice in entertainment.

Beyond music and politics, Villa has expanded her brand to include fitness coaching. In recent posts, she’s shared motivational content about personal health and wellness, offering tips on building mental toughness and consistency in fitness routines.

For fans interested in attending Villa’s birthday event and trailer premiere, she has directed them to a link in her Instagram bio for registration details. The gathering promises to be an intimate affair with limited space, reflecting Villa’s desire to connect personally with her supporters.

As Villa continues her stay in Austin, fans can likely expect more updates and behind-the-scenes glimpses of both her birthday celebration and the much-anticipated “Breaking Shadows” trailer premiere on her social media channels.
