Lifetime Collaboration Continues

Beauvais’s partnership with Lifetime and A&E has grown steadily over the past year. In an earlier Instagram post she shared, “Excited to be continuing my creative relationship with @lifetimetv @aetv. Telling stories that resonate deeply with audiences and put women—especially Black women—at the center is important to me. Both of these films are incredibly special to me, and I can’t wait for audiences to experience them.” That caption underlines her dual role as lead actress and executive producer, a position she’s taken on since her Emmy-consideration turn in Lifetime’s Tempted By Love. Fans can expect a similarly powerful narrative in this unscripted collaboration.

Shooting In Scenic Hope, Bc

Principal photography took place across Vancouver and the nearby town of Hope, BC. Known for its lush forests, winding rivers and mountain vistas, Hope provided a moody backdrop well suited to the film’s suspenseful tone. Production designer Jason Egenberg and cinematographer Sam Spear were among those thanked in Beauvais’s wrap post, reflecting a tight-knit crew that leaned into the region’s natural beauty. Several Instagram snapshots show the cast navigating misty roads and setting up shots near the Fraser River, underscoring the commitment to location authenticity.

Cast, Crew, And Canine Co-stars

In her caption Beauvais credited a roster of collaborators, including producers Karen Kaufman and Stirling Bancroft, director Roger Cross, and actors Kailey Spear, Devon Kenzo and Jay Kamal Dop. She also gave a special shout-out to “all the doggies that came to set,” acknowledging the four-legged members whose roles ranged from family pets to pivotal story catalysts. Moments captured on set reveal Beauvais sharing laughs with Sierra Sidwell and the rest of the supporting cast during downtime, while craft services catered to both human and canine appetites.

What’s Next For Beauvais

With cameras now wrapped, Beauvais will shift into post-production duties—overseeing editing, score integration and promotional planning. Fans can look forward to a trailer announcement later this fall, followed by a premiere on Lifetime early next year. Beyond this project, she continues hosting duties on The Real and is slated to star in the upcoming drama series New York Undercover: Legacy. Her busy slate underscores a career built on balancing mainstream appeal with stories that reflect her heritage and spotlight underrepresented voices.

As Garcelle Beauvais closes the chapter on this Vancouver shoot, she extends gratitude to a team whose dedication turned scenes written on paper into cinematic moments. From the misty mountain roads of Hope to the final clapboard, the journey highlights her evolution from actress to producer and her unwavering commitment to storytelling that centers on women and diversity.
