This collaboration brings together two significant talents in the voice acting industry. While Keaton has built an impressive career voicing superheroes and video game characters, Jim Cummings is perhaps best known as the voice of Winnie the Pooh and Tigger in Disney productions, along with countless other animated characters spanning decades.

The podcast episode, scheduled to release in the coming weeks, will likely feature discussions about their extensive careers in animation, behind-the-scenes stories, and insights into the voice acting industry.

Josh Keaton has established himself as one of the most versatile voice actors in the industry. Keaton began his voice acting career at a young age with roles in productions like Peanuts, Peter Pan and the Pirates, and Back to the Future: The Animated Series.

His career gained significant momentum after voicing Young Hercules in Disney’s animated feature. Since then, Keaton has become particularly known for voicing superhero characters, most notably Spider-Man in the critically acclaimed Spectacular Spider-Man animated series, Hal Jordan in Green Lantern: The Animated Series, and currently Tony Stark/Iron Man in Marvel Rivals and Marvel’s Midnight Suns.

Keaton’s video game credits are equally impressive, including performances as Ocelot in Metal Gear Solid 3, Prince Valerian Mengsk in StarCraft II, and King Anduin Wrynn in World of Warcraft. His recent work includes roles in popular animated series such as DOTA Dragon’s Blood, Arcane, and Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. He also voiced Shiro in Voltron Legendary Defender and recently starred as Souta in Makoto Shinkai’s acclaimed anime film Suzume.

Keaton has been particularly active in the convention circuit this year. In recent weeks, he participated in the CelebWorx Marvel Rivals in-store signing event on April 12th in Burbank, where he appeared alongside fellow cast members from the game. The event brought together fifteen voice actors from Marvel Rivals, giving fans opportunities for autographs and meet-and-greets.

Just last month, Keaton also attended LexCon in Lexington, Kentucky, and was announced as a guest for the upcoming National Gaming Expo. Additionally, he’s scheduled to appear at the Four State Comic Con in April 2025 at Hagerstown Community College.

While specific details about the Toon’d In Podcast are limited in Keaton’s post, the podcast likely focuses on animation, voice acting, and the entertainment industry. With hosts like Keaton and Cummings, listeners can anticipate insightful discussions about their experiences bringing animated characters to life.
