Pixar’s Latest Premiere
Vivien Lyra Blair took center stage at the Los Angeles premiere of Pixar’s new animated feature, Elio, joining longtime friend Sascha for the big night. Held on May 20 at the Regency Village Theatre, the event celebrated a movie that Pixar promises will be as heartfelt as it is hilarious.
Sweet, Funny And Original
After the screening, the twelve-year-old actress couldn’t contain her enthusiasm. “It was sweet and funny and so original in the best way,” Blair wrote on Instagram alongside photos of her in a ruby-red dress with Sascha. The pair posed under a neon sign that spelled out the film’s title, beaming at the pink-lit backdrop.
Elio follows the story of an imaginative boy who is accidentally launched across the galaxy and mistaken for the galaxy’s ambassador. Directed by Adrian Molina, the movie stars Ramon Rodriguez, America Ferrera and Brad Garrett, and premieres in theaters nationwide on June 13.
Teamwork On The Red Carpet
Blair used her caption to thank the studios and her own support network. “Thanks to @pixar and @imprintpr for a wonderful night,” she wrote, before giving a special shout-out to her agents. “As always thanks to @jenjen2010 @linds_hatch @sheridanmarch at @paradigmtalentagency for everything you guys do.”
Photos from the evening show the young star laughing with publicists, signing autographs for fans, and striking playful poses with Sascha as photographers clicked away. It’s clear that even at a major studio premiere, Blair still finds joy in every camera flash.
A Rising Young Talent
Premieres have become a familiar scene for Blair. In late 2022, she attended the Disney Lilo & Stitch debut and praised that film as “sweet and funny and meaningful,” meeting voice actor Maia Kealoha and co-star Bailee Madison on the carpet. That event helped cement her reputation as a young star who can balance charm with genuine reviews.
Born in March 2012, Blair first gained attention with a role in the Netflix thriller Bird Box Barcelona and then landed a breakthrough performance as Princess Leia in the Disney+ series Obi-Wan Kenobi. Industry insiders say her combination of wit and warmth keeps her in demand for both family films and adult projects.
Looking Ahead
With Elio now racking up buzz and a slate of upcoming auditions, Blair shows no signs of slowing down. Her ability to connect with audiences—whether through a heartfelt Instagram post or a memorable on-screen role—continues to draw praise from fans and critics alike. As summer blockbuster season ramps up, this young actress is ready for lift-off.
The Elio premiere marked another high point in Blair’s rapidly growing career, and with her trademark honesty and energy, she’s poised to leave an even bigger mark on Hollywood’s next generation of stars.
