A Father’s Pride
“Faith and I went to watch our oldest daughter Gracie perform this show for a PBS special airing on Veteran’s Day,” McGraw wrote in his Instagram post. “It was a beautifully done performance by all, along with so many moving moments of our country, our people and the service of our men in the Great War…of course our Gracie was fantastic!!!!!!”

About The PBS Special
The production, titled “American History Unbound: The Great War And The Great Gatsby,” is scheduled to air on PBS on Veterans Day. The special is produced by American History Unbound Inc., with historian John Monsky serving as the creator, writer, narrator, and executive producer.
According to McGraw’s post, the production features several notable performers alongside his daughter Gracie, including Micaela Diamond, Nik Walker, Adam Chanler-Berat, and Diego Rodriguez. The special is directed by Michael Mayer with Ian Weinberger as the music supervisor, arranger, and conductor.
The McGraw Family Legacy
This PBS special marks another significant achievement for Gracie McGraw, who has been following in her famous parents’ footsteps in the entertainment industry. As the eldest daughter of the Grammy-winning country music icon Tim McGraw and the equally accomplished Faith Hill, Gracie has been carving out her path in the performing arts.
The proud father moment comes during what appears to be a busy period for McGraw. According to recent Instagram posts, he’s set to headline a pregame concert at the Speedway Classic, performing inside Bristol Motor Speedway ahead of the Braves and Reds baseball game.
McGraw is also scheduled to perform at the upcoming Music City Rodeo in Nashville, while also celebrating the recent release of a lyrical video song titled “Paper Umbrellas” featuring Parker McCollum, now available on all platforms.
Family Moments
Despite his busy professional schedule, McGraw continues to share glimpses of his family life on social media. His recent posts capture tender yet memorable moments with his wife and children. The McGraw-Hill family represents one of country music’s most enduring power couples, who are seen frequently collaborating both professionally and in raising their three daughters.
As Veterans Day approaches, fans can look forward to seeing Gracie McGraw perform in what her father described as a “beautifully done performance” that honors the service of military personnel from World War I while connecting to F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic American novel.
The PBS special “American History Unbound: The Great War And the Great Gatsby” will air on Veterans Day, offering viewers a unique blend of history, literature, music, and performance that clearly made a proud impression on one of country music’s biggest stars.
