Rock veteran and hunting enthusiast Ted Nugent has turned heads again—this time with a new line of fragrances that promise an unapologetically wild aroma. Partnering with Signal 11 Lures, Nugent introduces “Gonzo Stink,” a collection of eau de parfums aimed at fans craving that rugged, untamed scent. With the tagline “when only the most GoNzO stink will do,” the campaign taps directly into Nugent’s over-the-top persona and outdoor legacy.

Rock ‘n’ Roll Meets Fragrance

The Instagram announcement dropped on Nugent’s official handle (@tednugentofficial), showcasing slick product shots and Nugent’s trademark grin. In three images, Nugent poses alongside camouflage-accented bottles, each bearing bold typography and metallic accents. The visuals spotlight the collaboration with Signal 11 Lures, known for premium fishing baits, marking the company’s first foray into lifestyle fragrances.

The caption reads: “Ted Nugent scents, when only the most GoNzO stink will do! • @tednugentofficial @signal11lures.” Fans quickly picked up on the playful nod to Nugent’s self-styled “Gonzo” rock philosophy, blending high-octane performance with rugged outdoor appeal.

A Scent For The True Gonzo Fan

Signal 11 Lures co-founder Mark Parsons says the line was crafted to capture Nugent’s “full-throttle energy.” According to product notes, top notes of smoky cedar and leather segue into heart notes of pine resin and black pepper, finishing with a base of musk and vetiver. The design team even incorporated subtle fish-scale textures on the bottle caps, a wink at Signal 11’s angling roots.

“I wanted a scent that hits as hard as a power chord and smells as authentic as a pine forest after a storm,” Nugent said in a statement shared on his website. Fans can choose from three variants—Gonzo Stink Original, Wild Woods, and Night Hunt—each priced at $79.95 for 50ml.

Next Stops On Nugent’s Road

The launch coincides with Nugent’s 50th anniversary tour for his solo hit “Stranglehold.” On a recent Instagram post promoting the milestone, he teased summer dates under the banner “50 years of Stranglehold! Spirit of the Wild, All-American Shitkicker…rockouts for real soulmusiclovers—2025! Get your tickets at TedNugent.com.” The fragrance rollout is set to hit online shelves in late July, just ahead of his kickoff show in El Dorado, Arkansas.

For super-fans seeking exclusive perks, Nugent continues to push his NugeVault.com fan club. An earlier post invited followers to “upgrade your Vault experience to get exclusive Nuge content and collectible goodies—available now!” Members will receive first access to the Gonzo Stink line, plus limited-edition merch and signed bottles.
