From Medicine To Movies
“Doctor was the first spelling I knew,” Sreeleela says, recalling childhood conversations under her mother’s stethoscope. Her mother, a renowned gynaecologist in Bangalore, expected her daughter to follow a traditional medical path. Yet peers and patients’ families would murmur, “She’s going to get into acting for sure.” Her mother’s playful “Shhh! Don’t say it in front of her” became an omen for Sreeleela’s unexpected pivot.
Balancing Two Passions
While completing her MBBS, Sreeleela debuted in Kannada cinema with the 2019 film Kiss.
