Major League Wrestling is cranking up anticipation as its Summer of the Beasts event approaches on Thursday, June 26. New York Street Fight Recap

The last MLW stop in New York delivered chaos from bell to bell. Thrash Justice (Instagram: @thrashjustice), known for his ruthless brawling style, joined forces with Paul Walter Hauser (Instagram: @paulwhausergram) in a no-holds-barred tag-team grudge match. Their opponents, The Andersons, brought veteran ring savvy and tag-team cohesion, leading to a bloody back-and-forth under the bright lights of the Manhattan arena.

The action spilled into the crowd, with steel chairs, trash cans and tables all playing a part. Justice used his signature lariat to send one Anderson crashing through a table at ringside, while Hauser—best known on screen for his Oscar-nominated turn in BlacKkKlansman—unleashed a series of stiff forearms that left his adversaries reeling. In the end, Thrash Justice scored the decisive pinfall after Hauser delivered a perfectly timed senton from the ring apron.

That win cemented Justice and Hauser as an unlikely but effective partnership, earning praise from fans and critics alike for bringing cinematic flair and real-deal intensity to MLW’s street-fight format.

Hauser’s Hollywood And Wrestling Duality

Paul Walter Hauser has made headlines on both silver screens and squared circles. Before stepping into an MLW ring, he rose to fame with acclaimed roles in films such as I, Tonya and BlackKklansman. According to his official biography, Hauser earned critical acclaim and an Academy Award nomination for his performance in BlacKkKlansman, showcasing a talent that carries as much weight in Hollywood as it does in pro wrestling promotions.

Beyond acting, Hauser holds the PROGRESS Proteus World Championship in the UK-based PROGRESS Wrestling. An old Instagram post from his PROGRESS profile shows him alongside Cody Rhodes promoting The Naked Gun trailer—another crossover moment that highlights his unique dual career. Fans have praised Hauser’s ability to blend athleticism, showmanship and comedic timing, whether delivering a dialogue-driven scene or a superkick in front of a roaring crowd.

Hauser’s Instagram stories also reveal a demanding travel schedule. He recently posted about a 65-hour work week that took him from film sets to ringside appearances, underscoring his commitment to both crafts. It’s a rare blend: few performers transition so fluidly between mainstream cinema and live wrestling, but Hauser has made it look effortless.
