Comedian Luenell is hitting the stage at the Cincinnati Funny Bone this Friday and Saturday, and she’s inviting fans to experience more than just her razor-sharp wit. In a recent Instagram post, she teased four back-to-back shows and spotlighted two signature style statements: her extravagant manicure and her newly launched fragrance. Tickets are on sale now for fans eager to see—and sniff—the full effect.

Nails And Scents Take Center Stage

“@cincyfunnybone is where I’ll be Friday and Saturday for four shows if you want to see these nails up close and also get a whiff of my ICONIC perfume @byarzo come check me out. Tix on sale NOW‼️ Nails by: @joytotheworldnailboutique in Las Vegas💅🏼,” Luenell captioned her show announcement.

The comedian collaborated with Las Vegas‐based JoytoTheWorld Nail Boutique, known for their bold, sculptural designs. Luenell’s nails feature an attention-grabbing palette of crimson and gold, complete with 3D accents that catch the light under theater spotlights. She’s paired that visual punch with “By Arzo,” her first signature scent. Described on Luenell’s social feed as “iconic,” the perfume arrives just in time for her Midwest run.

A quick dive into her background: born Sharon McQueen in 1959 in Tallahassee, Luenell earned acclaim as a stand-up comic in the early ’90s. Over the past three decades, she’s built a devoted fan base through guest turns on talk shows, roles in films like “Friday” and “Borat Subsequent Moviefilm,” and multiple Netflix specials. Her vibrant personality and fearless style choices have made her as much a red-carpet fixture as she is a club headliner.

Beyond Cincinnati, Luenell has been on a whirlwind tour this spring. In mid-May, she sold out two nights at Harlem’s legendary Apollo Theater, sharing backstage moments with choreographer daughter Danielle “Danelle Doe” and dance troupe “Lue-Boos.” Her Instagram feed captured everything from club outings in New York to late-night museum visits, but her latest post hones in on the essentials for her upcoming weekend dates.

Nail artist JoytoTheWorld posted a behind-the-scenes snapshot of Luenell mid-manicure, showing brushes and polish flanking a show poster. “Every set of nails tells a story,” the boutique wrote, “and these are about laughter, glamour, and a touch of theatrical flair.”

The By Arzo fragrance, developed in collaboration with perfumer Arzo, blends notes of jasmine, sandalwood, and a hint of sparkling citrus. Luenell has hinted at a limited batch release, with bottles on sale exclusively at her live events. Fans attending the Funny Bone shows will have first dibs on purchase—and, of course, the chance to ask the comedian for her best punchlines in person.

“When I step on stage, I want my look to announce me before I even say a word,” Luenell told a lifestyle podcast last month. “This scent, these nails—they’re part of my signature. Comedy is my heart, but style is my stage presence.”

With seats limited and buzz building online, many of Luenell’s followers are planning road trips from nearby cities. The Funny Bone’s box office confirms that all four performances have already sold more than 70 percent of available tickets, and a post-show meet-and-greet is rumored to sell out quickly.

Fans can book tickets on the Cincinnati Funny Bone website. In addition to her stand-up set, Luenell is slated to sign booked fragrance orders and pose for selfies with admirers. Expect queues for both the nail selfies and scent spritzes to rival the line for autographs.

Luenell’s fusion of comedy and high-glamour accessories highlights a new approach to live performance—where visual flair and personal branding are every bit as integral as the jokes. As she proves once again, a comedian can make a statement before a single punchline lands.

Laughter, lacquer, and luxury scent: Luenell’s Cincinnati weekend promises all three in equal measure. Don’t miss your chance to catch her shows and see why she’s as unforgettable for her style as she is for her stand-up.
