Gad, 44, is no casual observer when it comes to puck and playoffs. According to his Wikipedia page, he’s an American actor, comedian and producer best known for voicing Olaf in Disney’s Frozen franchise and co-founding the Broadway company Gulfstream Productions. Away from Hollywood sets, the Pennsylvania native has become just as recognizable on the rink’s edge, donning Panthers gear and cheering on the ice since the franchise’s early days.

The Florida Panthers secured the Atlantic Division crown for a second consecutive season thanks to a thrilling 3-2 overtime victory over the Montreal Canadiens on Wednesday night. According to NHL.com, the win mathematically locked up the top spot with one regular-season game still to play. It’s the first time the club has repeated as division champs in its 31-year history.
Florida finished with a franchise-record 110 points in 2023–24, then edged the Canadiens on Shea Weber’s overtime tally to close out the division. The Panthers also led the league in goals for (293) and penalty kill percentage (84.5%), cementing their status as one of the NHL’s most complete teams.
Gad’s post quickly racked up likes from fellow celebs and teammates alike. Forward Evan Rodrigues responded with a string of fire emojis, while defenseman Brandon Montour reposted the clip to his own story, writing simply, “L🏒VE IT, Josh.”
