Former Disney Channel star Jason Earles has announced a series of upcoming comedy performances across Los Angeles venues this spring, giving fans multiple opportunities to see his stand-up act live on stage.
The actor, best known for his role as Jackson Stewart in “Hannah Montana,” shared his excitement on Instagram about his comedy show lineup spanning from late April through early May. “So excited for my upcoming shows! Check my story for updates!” Earles wrote in his post, before listing his performance dates and venues.
Fans can catch Earles at Danny Boys on April 26th at 8:30 PM, located at 10889 Lindbrook Drive. The following week, he’ll perform at Revolucion Cantina in Fullerton on May 1st at 7 PM, where doors open at 6 PM. This show will feature veteran comedian Caroline Rhea as the headliner. Earles will also participate in a special Make-A-Wish Foundation fundraiser at The Comedy Store’s Main Room on May 4th at 7:30 PM. His busy comedy schedule continues with an appearance at The Comedy Store’s Belly Room on May 8th for “The Sweiser Show.”
Comedy Career Gaining Momentum
This busy performance schedule demonstrates Earles’ growing presence in the stand-up comedy scene. In a previous Instagram post promoting The Sweiser Show, Earles expressed his enthusiasm about the May 8th Comedy Store appearance, noting that the show would include perks for attendees such as “free weed, and Sweiser Show merch.”
While many fans know Earles from his Disney Channel career, his transition to comedy represents a new chapter in his entertainment journey. Earles has been actively promoting his comedy appearances on social media. In March, he posted about a show called “Wax Poetics” at The Earl in Hollywood, where he performed alongside other comedians, including Iliza Shlesinger and Shane Torres.
Expanding Entertainment Horizons
Beyond stand-up comedy, Earles has been exploring other aspects of entertainment. In a recent podcast appearance highlighted on his Instagram, Earles discussed his career trajectory “from being an extra on That’s So Raven to Hannah Montana and Dadnapped and even HSMTMTS.” The podcast also touched on his work in “Kickin’ It,” showing how his Disney Channel experience has shaped his entertainment career.
Earles has also maintained connections with his “Hannah Montana” past. His Instagram feed shares posts from various cast members of the series showcasing the lasting impact of their collaboration. Additionally, Earles shared humorous content related to his Disney Channel days, including a clip where he jokingly called for Disney to “release the Jackson Rod Stewart cut of the Hannah Montana movie” and playfully engaged in some “fightin’ words” with former Disney Channel co-star Jason Dolley regarding a “Disney Channel Games” competition.
Supporting Live Comedy
Earles has been vocal about supporting live comedy, encouraging his followers to attend shows. In one post promoting a March performance, he wrote, “Come out and support LIVE comedy!!!” showing his commitment to the stand-up scene.
