Jamie Chung is giving fans a glimpse into her relaxing getaway at Saulee resort, sharing a simple vacation philosophy that many could benefit from adopting.

The actress and fashion influencer posted a serene update from what appears to be day two of her tropical vacation, captioning her Instagram post with the refreshingly straightforward motto: “Day 2 @saulee. Sleep, eat, smile and repeat.”

In the image shared to her Instagram account, Chung can be seen relaxing in what appears to be a beautiful resort setting, perfectly embodying her vacation mantra. The post showcases her embracing the laid-back vacation lifestyle, a welcome respite from her usually busy schedule.

This follows her previous post from the first night of her stay, where she revealed more details about the luxurious location. “Night one for @saulee at the beautiful @editionrivieramayakanai Thanks for hosting this quick getaway ❤️,” Chung wrote in her earlier post.

The Edition Riviera Maya Kanai is a luxury resort located in Mexico’s stunning Riviera Maya region, known for its pristine beaches and upscale accommodations. The property appears to be hosting Chung for what she describes as a “quick getaway” – something that seems particularly meaningful given her recent personal challenges.

The vacation comes at what appears to be an important time for Chung. In a post from earlier this month, she opened up about significant personal difficulties. On what was apparently her birthday, she shared deeply emotional sentiments about beginning debris removal at her home, which seems to have been damaged in some way.

“Birthdays always get me emotional. And on this birthday we started debris removal. The reality of how long the road will be to rebuild, the uncertainty of wether or not I’ll be able to survive or take on this challenge, the red tape of our local government, the confusion between agencies, the battle of coverage, the time suck, the worry, logistics, depleting funds, trying to be present for my family. It all hit me yesterday,” she wrote candidly.

In that same post, she expressed gratitude for her support system: “I was grateful to know that I’ve got the sweetest kids. The most supportive partner, incredible friends and family by my side.”

Given these recent hardships, her current getaway focusing on simple pleasures like sleep, smiles, and good food seems particularly well-deserved and therapeutic.

For those less familiar with Chung, she has built an impressive career spanning both acting and fashion influence. Jamie Jilynn Chung first gained fame as a cast member on MTV’s “The Real World: San Diego” in 2004.

She successfully transitioned to acting with roles in films like “Dragonball Evolution,” “Grown Ups,” “Premium Rush,” “Sorority Row,” “The Hangover Part II,” “Sucker Punch,” and “Big Hero 6.” On television, she’s appeared in “Once Upon a Time,” “Gotham,” “The Gifted,” and “Lovecraft Country.”

Chung married actor Bryan Greenberg in 2015, and the couple welcomed twins in October 2021. Her social media presence shows she balances motherhood with her continuing career in entertainment and fashion.

Even while relaxing, Chung maintains her connection with her fashion-focused followers. In her vacation post, she invites fans to “Comment SET below to receive 🔗 to the most beautiful sets,” indicating she’s prepared to share details about the outfits showcased in her vacation photos – a common practice among fashion influencers.

This approach is consistent with her other recent posts, where she frequently offers to share fashion details with engaged followers, further cementing her status as both an actress and style icon.

The combination of personal openness about her challenges, coupled with her continued fashion influence even during vacation, showcases the multifaceted nature of Chung’s public persona – relatable in her struggles while aspirational in her style and travel experiences.

As Chung continues her stay at the Edition Riviera Maya Kanai, fans can likely expect more glimpses into her rejuvenating getaway – a simple but effective reminder that sometimes the best vacation philosophy is indeed just to “sleep, eat, smile and repeat.”
