Actress Isabelle Fuhrman welcomes the change of seasons in one of Europe’s most picturesque destinations. The star took to Instagram to share stunning views from her current travels in Switzerland, posting images that capture the country’s natural beauty as spring begins to emerge.
“Spring is springing in Switzerland 🇨🇭,” Fuhrman captioned her post, which features pictures of her posing against what appears to be her hotel room balcony, with the scenic landscape of Switzerland’s iconic snow-capped mountains and lush greenery in the background. The peaceful getaway comes during a particularly busy period for the 27-year-old actress, who has been actively promoting several film projects in recent months.
Fuhrman first captured audiences’ attention with her chilling performance as Esther in the 2009 psychological horror film “Orphan” when she was just 12 years old. She later returned to the role in the 2022 prequel “Orphan: First Kill,” cementing her status as a modern horror icon.
Just last month, Fuhrman reminded fans of her horror roots with a special behind-the-scenes Halloween post showcasing the special effects work from the original “Orphan” film. She shared images of the prosthetic arm created for a pivotal scene, writing: “To this day, one of my favorite parts about working in the Horror genre is that it’s a playground for Makeup and special-effects artists to create masterpieces like this!”
While taking time to enjoy Switzerland’s natural splendor, Fuhrman has been celebrating several recent film releases. In January, she promoted the theatrical release of “Wish You Were Here,” directed by Julia Stiles and co-starring Mena Massoud. The heartfelt film, based on Renee Carlino’s USA Today bestselling book, opened to select theaters on January 26th. More recently, Fuhrman announced her film “The Novice” had been released in Japan, describing it as “our little boat movie” and mentioning that despite the film’s intensity, the cast “sure did have a great time making it.”
With spring arriving in Switzerland, Fuhrman appears to be taking a well-deserved break between projects. Fans can look forward to her upcoming “Street Smart” release, though details about the project remain limited. As she continues to build her diverse portfolio across both horror and dramatic films, Fuhrman’s Switzerland getaway offers a glimpse at the tranquil moments between her increasingly busy professional schedule.
