Guy Gilchrist Hosts Pop-Up Muppet Kids Livestream Tonight

Tonight marks a new treat for families and fans of the Muppets as veteran cartoonist Guy Gilchrist rolls out a surprise pop-up livestream event. The first session launches at 6 p.m. CST on Facebook’s official “Guy Gilchrist” page, followed by a second show at 7:30 p.m. CST on Instagram (@guyfgilchrist). For this week only, Gilchrist will sketch alongside viewers, belt out classic songs, and unveil rare archival treasures and special deals.

Gilchrist’s announcement on Instagram spelled out the evening’s lineup: “we are going to draw together, I’m going to sing some songs, we are going to have some exclusive deals and some archival and rare things to show you… And it’s going to be a lot of fun!” He adds that characters Sydney, Rowlf and Kermit will make virtual cameos, and that he’ll play his 53 Harmony Guitar live on camera.
