Galaxycon Lands In Oklahoma City

Brian O’Halloran, best known for his iconic turn as Dante Hicks in Kevin Smith’s Clerks series, is set to appear this weekend at GalaxyCon Oklahoma City. The event runs at the Oklahoma City Convention Center, where O’Halloran will join a roster of guests, artists, writers, and vendors. Tickets and details are available via the official GalaxyCon site or at https://galaxycon.com/pages/galaxycon-oklahoma-city.

Convention Highlights

Fans 18 and over can kick off festivities with O’Halloran’s Friday night gig – he’s hosting the GalaxyCon After Dark Show, The Boob Tube Review, a burlesque extravaganza that starts at 11:59 PM. On Saturday at 11:30 AM, catch him on the Hero Stage for a live Q&A. Professional photo ops with O’Halloran are scheduled for Friday at 4:25 PM, Saturday at 2:10 PM, and Sunday at 1:40 PM. Several guest appearances at the booth are organized by ZS Concepts Entertainment.

Clerks Star Spotlight

A fixture of Kevin Smith’s View Askewniverse since 1994, O’Halloran first captured hearts as Dante Hicks in Clerks and its sequels, and he’s popped up in Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. On his official Instagram (@briancohalloran), he’s been sharing throwbacks and convention invites — recently he was announced for Rhode Island Comic Con’s 30th anniversary Mallrats celebration and teased future fan cruises alongside Jason Mewes and Kevin Smith.

Whether you’re a die-hard Clerks aficionado or just curious about O’Halloran’s offbeat burlesque hosting skills, there’s a slot for you. Be sure to swing by, say hi, grab a selfie, and maybe even catch a cameo or two from his Askewniverse co-stars.
