Emily Osment has given fans a humorous glimpse into how her character Mandy uses facial expressions to her advantage in CBS’s sitcom “Georgie and Mandy.” The actress took to Instagram to share a series of photos showcasing the character’s persuasive side ahead of a new episode.
Mandy’s Secret Weapons Revealed
In her recent Instagram post, Osment shared three selfies displaying different facial expressions her character Mandy apparently uses to get her way.
The photos show Osment making three distinct expressions – one appearing sweet and innocent, another showing a subtle pout, and a third featuring a more pleading look – all seemingly part of Mandy’s arsenal for persuasion on the show.
Celebrating Season Two Renewal
This post comes on the heels of exciting news for the show and its cast. In a previous Instagram post, Osment shared her gratitude about the series being renewed for another season. She wrote: “This can’t be how everyone looks at their boss, right? So much love for sweet Chuck Lorre. 16 years, 5 shows, and soooo many laughs. Thank you for Ashley, Jodi, Theresa and Mandy.”
The actress continued her heartfelt message by thanking viewers: “And thanks to all of you who watch our wonderful show, you’ve made it possible for me to do the thing I love more than anything else in the world for another whole year.”
From Hannah Montana To Sitcom Success
Emily Osment has built an impressive career since her early days as a child actress. According to her Wikipedia page, she first gained widespread recognition playing Lilly Truscott on Disney Channel’s “Hannah Montana” alongside Miley Cyrus from 2006 to 2011.
The CBS sitcom, a spin-off from “Young Sheldon,” follows the characters Georgie Cooper (played by Montana Jordan) and Mandy McAllister (Osment) as they navigate marriage and parenthood. The show comes from prolific producer Chuck Lorre, whom Osment praised in her post about the season renewal.
Life Beyond The Set
When not on set, Osment appears to enjoy time outdoors and celebrating personal milestones. In celebration of her 33rd birthday earlier this year, she posted photos climbing trees and spending time with friends, captioning: “33 climb a tree!! thank you for all the sweet birthday wishes! and for all my tremendous, wild and beautiful friends that made this week so special in so many ways ❤️🔥 i love you!”
Fans of the actress and the show can catch new episodes of “Georgie and Mandy” on CBS, with Osment continuing to provide glimpses into both her character’s world and her own life through social media.
