A large bronze plaque greets visitors at the main entrance, and inside, rows of tiered seating face a pro-grade stage ready for music, drama, and dance productions. This donation builds on his past support for Compton schools, including STEM labs and scholarship programs. In 2013, Dre and business partner Jimmy Iovine launched a scholarship fund to send local graduates to USC’s music and film programs. Today’s gift cements his status as one of the city’s most engaged philanthropists.
