Dave Hill’s Atlantic City Debauchery

Comedian-musician Dave Hill is gearing up for a one-night stand at Anchor Rock Club in Atlantic City on July 31, promising a “magical night of debauchery,” as he announced on Instagram. The post, which reads “ATLANTIC CITY July 31! I’m coming to @anchorrockclub for one magical night of debauchery! You been warned!” (photo by Cameron Flaisch Photography), marks the latest stop on his summer run of live shows along the East Coast.

From Jersey To Atlantic City

Just one evening before his AC show, Hill hit the stage at White Eagle Hall in Jersey City. On July 30, his Instagram update teased “JERSEY JULY 30! I’m coming to @whiteeaglehalljc for a night of mayhem! You have been warned!” The back-to-back East Coast dates reflect Hill’s growing footprint as a live performer who blends sharp stand-up comedy with rock-infused musical numbers.

Comedy And Guitar Collide

Hill’s Anchor Rock Club appearance is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. Tickets are available now through the venue’s box office and website. Fans can expect a mix of new material, improvised bits and original songs delivered with Hill’s trademark blend of self-deprecating humor and guitar-driven energy.

A Summer Circuit Of Shows

This July stretch has seen Hill playing intimate venues, from Milford, CT to Jersey City. Earlier in the month, he showcased a custom Jason Becker–inspired Numbers guitar by Kiesel Guitars ahead of his Milford gig, underlining his dual identity as a skilled guitarist and comedian.

From Open Mics To Comic Rock

Hill began his career playing open-mic nights in Manhattan, combining offbeat humor with guitar solos that caught the attention of indie label executives and comedy club bookers alike. His first album of comedy songs, released in 2014, earned praise for its catchy hooks and absurd lyrics.

A Genre-blurring Entertainer

Beyond solo shows, Hill co-hosts the Axelords Podcast, where Season Two spotlights guests like Guided By Voices guitarist Doug Gillard. He also released his debut comic book series, Dark Regards, through Oni Press, signing issues at New York’s Forbidden Planet in June. Each project showcases his willingness to explore new creative avenues.

The Atlantic City performance promises laughter, riffs and a healthy dose of controlled chaos when Hill takes the mic and guitar on July 31. Whether you’re a diehard fan or a first-timer, this one-night-only event at Anchor Rock Club could be the summer’s most talked-about late-night adventure.
