Claudia Jordan is bringing her signature blend of style, wit and community focus to the Tampa Bay Black Expo next month. In an Instagram post (instagram.com/p/DLAV6_3sbbk), the actor and media personality invited local businesses to tag their favorite vendors—and even offered booth space at a discounted rate of $600 for two days.

Business Booths And Tagging

Jordan called on small brands and entrepreneurs: “Tag a business that you’d wanna visit their booth! Any businesses that wanna get a booth—they’re very reasonable—$600 for 2 days! Leave a comment below and I’ll have my people reach out to your people!” Her goal is to spotlight Black-owned shops, services and creatives across Tampa Bay.

Provocative Panel: “sleeping With The Enemy”

One of the Expo’s headline events is a frank panel discussion titled Sleeping with the Enemy. Jordan promised “very PROVOCATIVE” conversations on power dynamics, identity and social change. With two decades of hosting radio and television specials—from the Foxxhole to Black Card Revoked—she’s built a reputation for guiding spirited debates that resonate with diverse audiences.

Celeb Fashion And Community Highlights

Beyond panels, Jordan teased a celebrity fashion show and surprises throughout the weekend. She’s no stranger to runway moments, having judged style contests on reality TV and walked red carpets at film festivals. This Expo stop follows her recent community outreach, including a Juneteenth fun run (instagram.com/p/DK4j3RGMoLC) where she completed both a 1-mile dash and a 5K for charity.

Local Flavors: Where To Eat In Tampa

On top of Expo duties, Jordan is scouting Tampa’s best restaurants. Local guides suggest starting at Bern’s Steak House for classic dry-aged cuts, Ulele on the riverfront for native Florida flavors, and Oxford Exchange for coffee, eclectic bites and a bookstore vibe. Armature Works at Water Works Park and Colossal Café in Seminole Heights also top many “must-try” lists.

With booth applications open and a weekend full of panel talks, fashion and food exploration, Jordan’s Tampa Bay visit promises to boost local Black businesses while delivering her trademark mix of glamour and meaningful conversation. Keep an eye on her feed for more event details—and don’t miss out on this two-day showcase of culture and commerce.
