C.T. Fletcher Backs Brother’s New Strength Training Book

Legendary bodybuilder and powerlifting champion C.T. Fletcher is showing his brotherly support by promoting a new book written by his brother, a premier strength and conditioning coach. Fletcher took to Instagram to share his enthusiasm for the publication, encouraging his followers to grab a copy.

Fletcher described his brother as “A PREMIER STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING COACH, ALSO AN ELITE BOXING TRAINER,” who has trained numerous professional athletes, ranging from boxers to basketball players. Beyond working with professionals, Fletcher highlighted that his brother has also trained “COUNTLESS EVERYDAY WORKING CLASS, MEN AND WOMEN” who simply want to, as Fletcher puts it, “BE READY SO THEY DON’T HAVE TO GET READY.”

Known as the “Iron Addict,” C.T. Fletcher has built an impressive reputation in the fitness world. According to his Wikipedia page, Fletcher is an American powerlifting champion, bodybuilder, actor, and social media personality. Born on June 8, 1959, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, he grew up in Compton, California, and later served in the U.S. Army for 11 years, stationed in Germany.
Fletcher’s powerlifting achievements are remarkable, including three World Bench Press Championships and three Strict Curl Championships. His personal records include a 650-pound bench press, a 725-pound squat, and a 650-pound deadlift.

Fletcher emphasized that ISCA adheres to “THE STRICTEST RULE SET IN STRICT CURL TODAY,” requiring the head, back, and butt to remain in contact with the wall throughout the lift.
Beyond his fitness endeavors, Fletcher places great importance on family. He recently celebrated his wife Beatrice’s 67th birthday, referring to her as “MY SWEETHEART, MY PALAUN PRINCESS, THE QUEEN BEE” and “MY INSPIRATION.”
