On the evening of June 22 at the Eli & Edythe Broad Stage in Santa Monica, Broadway’s brightest will raise their voices to support a vital cause. Broadway Voices Unite is a one-night-only benefit concert produced and hosted by Merle Dandridge, Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley Jackson, live-streamed at StarsintheHouse.com, with all proceeds backing Harvest Home’s work for homeless pregnant women and their children.
A Night Of Purpose
Broadway Voices Unite aims to raise $100,000 to expand Harvest Home’s holistic programs across Los Angeles County. Harvest Home provides emergency housing, healthcare coordination, parenting education and emotional support for expectant mothers without stable shelter. The June 22 concert builds on the nonprofit’s growing impact: last year, Harvest Home helped more than 150 women secure safe apartments and intensive case management services.
Star-studded Lineup
The event boasts an all-star roster, from Tony winners to fan favorites. Jason Alexander, best known for Seinfeld and his Broadway turns, joins Broadway star Rachel Bloom. Troy Baker, the voice of Joel in the video game phenomenon The Last of Us, will reunite on stage with Merle Dandridge—who plays Marlene in the HBO adaptation. Lillias White and Rory O’Malley add powerhouse vocals, while Carly Hughes and many more promise an evening of diverse styles, from musical theater standards to surprise duets.
Meet Merle Dandridge
Merle Dandridge wears many hats: Tony-nominated actress, singer and producer. A graduate of the University of Washington, she has headlined Broadway productions including Hadestown and Jesus Christ Superstar, and gained a new generation of fans as Marlene in The Last of Us. In an Instagram post (@merledandridge), she teased the concert’s gaming connection: “The Last of Us fans—this one’s for you! Join us Sunday, June 22 for Broadway Voices Unite… aka Marlene in The Last of Us. She’ll be joined by Troy Baker, the voice of Joel, for another unforgettable night!” The post also noted a raffle of signed collector’s editions of The Last of Us Part I & II, adding a playful twist and extra incentive for fans to secure tickets.
Supporting Harvest Home
Harvest Home has spent more than a decade forging partnerships with local shelters, healthcare providers and social workers. Participants in the program receive individualized plans that cover prenatal care, counseling and postnatal transition support. According to Harvest Home’s annual report, 92% of mothers who complete the program avoid repeat homelessness for at least one year. Proceeds from Broadway Voices Unite will allow the organization to open a second transitional home in South L.A. and hire additional case managers.
Tickets And Vip Options
Tickets start at $50, with VIP packages that include preconcert reception access, premium seating and exclusive raffle entries. Orchestra-level seats grant two chances to win a private Garden Box at the Hollywood Bowl. All tickets purchased at HarvestHomeLA.org automatically enter buyers into the raffle for signed editions of The Last of Us games, thanks to Naughty Dog’s sponsorship. For those unable to attend in person, a $25 livestream pass is available through StarsintheHouse.com.
As Broadway Voices Unite draws near, the combination of star power, heartfelt stories and community engagement sets the stage for a memorable evening. Whether in the theater or online, audiences will share in the joy of performance and the real-world impact of supporting homeless pregnant women and their children.
