Actor Brant Daugherty recently delighted his Instagram followers with an endearing photo of his dog Aero, suggesting the canine companion might be privy to secrets unknown to the rest of us.
The “Pretty Little Liars” star shared a close-up image of his dog Aero, who appears to be a black or dark-colored breed with soulful eyes. In the photo, Aero gazes directly at the camera with what could only be described as a knowing expression.
“Aero always looks like he knows something the rest of us don’t,” Daugherty captioned the post, perfectly capturing the dog’s mysterious demeanor.
Aero’s First Year Celebration
This isn’t the first time Daugherty has showcased his beloved pet on social media. Just months ago, the actor celebrated Aero’s first birthday with a heartfelt post featuring multiple photos of the dog’s journey from puppy to one-year-old.
“A year of Aero. Happy Birthday to my sweet little man,” Daugherty wrote in the March 2024 birthday tribute, which included a collection of photos documenting Aero’s growth.
His wife, actress Kimberly Daugherty, also marked the special occasion on her Instagram account, writing, “One whole year of Aero! We’re so grateful for this happy, silly, chill little dude. We love you, Aero!” The post included a video celebration of their furry family member.
Family Life With Aero
Aero has clearly become an integral part of the Daugherty household. In February, Brant posted another photo of Aero with the simple caption “(one of) my boy(s),” suggesting the dog’s important place in the family dynamic.
The couple frequently features Aero in their social media posts, with the pet appearing in family photos and solo portraits that capture his expressive personality. Based on the images shared, Aero appears to be a well-adjusted and beloved member of the Daugherty family.
Brant’s Recent Activities
Beyond his canine companionship, Daugherty has been quite busy in recent months. According to his Instagram, he’s been involved in an indie film project called “By the Roots,” written and directed by Madison Young. In early April, he posted about the film, asking followers to support the project through a fundraising campaign.
“We just finished production on a beautiful new film called By the Roots (written and directed by Madison Young) and we need to get it into the world,” Daugherty wrote. “If there’s anything you can give to help us reach the people that need to see this film, please consider donating to help out. This film could save lives.”
He’s also been documenting his adventures through a series of photos posted in April with the caption, “The past few weeks have been quite an adventure,” suggesting the actor has been balancing work and personal life with his typical enthusiasm.

For those who may not be familiar with Daugherty, he rose to fame playing Noel Kahn in the popular television series “Pretty Little Liars.” According to his Wikipedia page, the American actor was born on August 20, 1985, in Mason, Ohio.
Beyond “Pretty Little Liars,” Daugherty has appeared in several notable productions including the films “Fifty Shades Freed” and “Dear White People.” He also competed on the 17th season of “Dancing with the Stars” where he finished in seventh place.
In 2018, Daugherty married actress Kimberly Hidalgo, and the couple has since built a life together that prominently features their dog Aero. The couple appears to have a shared love for their pet, often posting about him on their respective social media accounts.
Vacation Memories
Amidst his busy schedule, Daugherty has found time for relaxation as well. In April, he posted about his desire to return to Grand Velas Nayarit, a luxury resort, with the caption, “Can’t wait to go back,” accompanied by sun and palm tree emojis, suggesting fond memories of a previous vacation.
Meanwhile, his wife Kimberly recently shared a nostalgic post about a restaurant called Reel Inn in Malibu, noting it was where she and Brant had their first real date. “I made a dumb joke and ordered the ‘halibut just for the halibut,’ and I think that’s when he fell in love with me,” she wrote, adding that the restaurant was among the “devastating losses” from recent Los Angeles wildfires.
As Daugherty continues to balance his acting career with family life, his followers can likely expect to see more of Aero and his apparently all-knowing expressions on social media in the future.
