“I was honoured to speak at the Capitol again this session in support of #HB4568,” Bailey wrote in her Instagram caption. “There were some snazzy people on our panel (looking at you Woody, Quaid, and McC…and you @chrisjuen shoutout @thechosentvseries!), but I was there mostly as a mom, wife, and daughter of aging parents.”
Bailey, best known for her role as Queen Kwenthrith in the History Channel series “Vikings,” emphasized her personal stake in the legislation, noting she doesn’t want to be “away from them working for 3-6 months because our state doesn’t have enough industry jobs.”

Local talent, local trades people, local businesses – with opportunities for steady salaries all across the state, not just the big cities,” she wrote.
