Alan Ritchson, star of Amazon Prime’s hit series “Reacher,” has delighted fans with another installment of what’s becoming his signature social media series—a humorous food diary he calls “You’re Gonna Watch Me Eat This Crap and You’re Gonna Like It.”
In his latest Instagram post, Ritchson shared a video showing himself enjoying a meal, with the caption: “It’s another episode of ‘You’re Gonna Watch Me Eat This Crap and You’re Gonna Like It.’ I already ate some.” The actor is seen in the video appearing to enjoy his food, continuing what has become a popular recurring theme on his social media.
The Food Series Continues
This isn’t the first time Ritchson has treated his followers to this particular brand of content. Just days earlier, he posted a similar video with nearly identical phrasing, writing “This is another real good episode of, ‘You’re Gonna Watch Me Eat This Crap and You’re Gonna Like It.’ In this episode I got different food than the last episode.” He humorously added, “I hope you get good food like this and don’t choke on a potato.”
The series appears to have started earlier this month when Ritchson posted what he called “Almost an episode of, ‘You’re Gonna Watch Me Eat This Crap And Like It!'” showing that this food-focused content has quickly evolved into a recurring theme for the actor.
Filming “Runner” In Australia
Ritchson’s food posts come while he’s in Australia filming his upcoming movie “Runner,” directed by Scott Waugh. The actor has been sharing glimpses of his time on set through various social media posts. In a recent update about the film, he wrote, “That’s a wrap on another fun week of #Runner. Month or so to go. Such a great team on this one. Scott Waugh (director) is killin’ it (and so is everyone else).”
The actor has expressed enthusiasm about the production, noting the collaborative atmosphere: “We keep finding ways to make it just a little better everyday. We call it the 10%. Can we make each scene, each bit of dialogue, each bit of action, the heart, drama, levity… just 10% better than it was yesterday?”
From “Reacher” To “Runner”
Ritchson has experienced significant career momentum following the success of “Reacher,” the Amazon Prime series based on Lee Child’s popular book series. The show recently completed its third season, with Ritchson posting, “They don’t stand a chance. All episodes of REACHER S3 are now streaming on @primevideo.”
As filming continues on “Runner,” fans can likely expect more installments in Ritchson’s food series, along with further glimpses into his work and life in Australia. The actor’s engaging social media presence continues to build his connection with fans while he works on what he describes as a promising new project.
