Comedian, actor, and car enthusiast Adam Ferrara shares updates about his exciting weekend at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Palm Beach, this time with NFL legend Jerome “The Bus” Bettis and auction CEO Craig Jackson.
In an Instagram post shared from the event, Ferrara captured a memorable moment alongside Bettis and Jackson as the former Pittsburgh Steelers running back’s Corvette was auctioned off for charity.
The auction proved to be a tremendous success for Bettis’ foundation, with his Corvette fetching an impressive $200,000. The entire proceeds will benefit The Bus Stops Here Foundation, which focuses on improving the quality of life for disadvantaged children.
In his post, Ferrara highlighted an important aspect of Barrett-Jackson’s commitment to charitable causes: “100% of the hammer price goes to the charity. Barrett Jackson does not take any money to charity cars. Ever.” This policy ensures that every dollar raised goes directly to the intended cause.
This isn’t Ferrara’s first post from the Barrett-Jackson event. Earlier in the weekend, the comedian shared photos of himself enjoying time with Tyler Hoover of the popular YouTube channel “Hoovie’s Garage” and model/influencer April Rose.
Ferrara documented his experience test driving a Dodge performance vehicle with Hoover, writing: “Having a great time @barrett_jackson. Throwing around this monster @dodgeofficial with my pal @the_real_hoovies_garage.”
The Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach Auction, taking place at the South Florida Fairgrounds, brings together automotive enthusiasts, collectors, and celebrities for one of the premier car auction events in the country.
For those unfamiliar with Ferrara, he’s built a diverse career spanning comedy, acting, and automotive entertainment. Ferrara is an American actor and comedian who has appeared in several TV series, including “Rescue Me” and “Nurse Jackie.”
