CeeLo Green has announced he will be taking the stage at Atlanta’s Buckhead Theater tomorrow night for an event dubbed ‘The Shit Show.’ The Grammy-winning artist shared the news through multiple promotional posts on his Instagram, building excitement for what promises to be a standout night in Atlanta’s entertainment scene.

In his announcement, Green wrote: “Ahhhhh #shit #atlanta #tomorrow #night all the real players participators and spectators are going to be at the Buckhead theater for the shit show with a live performance from #me the comedic wisdom of #og @tk_kirkland hosted by Eastside #og BIG BANK come join us oyea @bigpat.basement is behind this!”

The promotional image shows a vibrant event poster for ‘The Shit Show,’ featuring CeeLo Green as the headlining musical performer alongside veteran comedian TK Kirkland, who is billed for bringing his signature “comedic wisdom” to the stage. The show will be hosted by Atlanta figure Big Bank, with event production credited to Big Pat.

The multi-talented artist has been building anticipation for the show by sharing multiple promotional posts with identical captions across his Instagram feed, suggesting this is a significant event he’s eager for fans to attend.

Sharing the stage with Green will be TK Kirkland, often referred to as the “Underground Comedy King.” With decades in the comedy business, Kirkland has built a reputation for his raw, unfiltered humor and insights. The comedian, who Green respectfully refers to as an “OG” in his post, brings veteran status to the event.

The Buckhead Theater, a historic venue in Atlanta’s upscale Buckhead district, regularly hosts notable music and comedy shows. This particular event appears to be organized by Big Pat, as indicated in Green’s post mentioning “@bigpat.basement is behind this!”

Atlanta has long been a cultural hub for Southern hip-hop, something Green recently acknowledged in another Instagram post where he paid tribute to Uncle Luke (Luther Campbell of 2 Live Crew). In that post, he wrote: “When I was young I was already off the chain but then 2live turned me all the way out.#lol But beyond that this was the very start of #southern #hiphop! gotta tip my hat to the man responsible @unclelukereal1 raised #us.”

Beyond promoting the upcoming show, Green has been active on social media sharing content related to music production and artistic inspiration. One recent post showed him in what appears to be a practice session, produced by Poinsettia Garden, while another post simply captioned “#magic” featured him in a recording studio environment.

For fans of both comedy and music, ‘The Shit Show’ promises to deliver a unique combination of entertainment. With CeeLo Green’s dynamic performance style and TK Kirkland’s comedic experience, attendees are likely in for an evening that showcases Atlanta’s vibrant entertainment culture.

Based on his social media activity and continued relevance in the music scene, tomorrow night’s show at the Buckhead Theater appears poised to be a memorable addition to Atlanta’s entertainment calendar, bringing together “all the real players participators and spectators” as Green himself put it.
