In his Instagram post, Goldblum shared that he and Grande bonded over this particular song while filming the movie adaptation of ‘Wicked’ together, which eventually led to their decision to record it as a duet for his new album. The post features an image showing what appears to be a promotional photo for the collaboration.

“Ariana and I bonded over this song while filming Wicked together, and then decided to record it together for my new album ‘Still Blooming’,” Goldblum wrote in the caption. “This is ‘I Don’t Know Why (I Just Do)’ featuring the incredible @arianagrande, coming April 25th.”

From Wizard To Musician: The Wicked Connection

This collaboration stems from the pair’s time working together on the highly anticipated film adaptation of the Broadway musical ‘Wicked.’ Goldblum portrays the Wizard of Oz in the film, while Grande stars as Glinda the Good Witch.

In a previous Instagram post, Goldblum referenced their on-screen characters with the caption: “The Wizard + Glinda meet again!” He encouraged fans to pre-save ‘Still Blooming’ to be among the first to hear their duet. Another promotional video he shared playfully featured Grande asking, “Ariana, what are you doing here?” highlighting the unexpected nature of their musical partnership.

My new merch line! I hope you love it as much as I do,” he wrote in the announcement post.

According to his Wikipedia page, Goldblum began playing piano as a child and has maintained his passion for jazz throughout his career. In recent years, he has released multiple albums showcasing his musical talents, with ‘Still Blooming’ being his latest musical endeavor.

His distinctive personality and quirky charm have made him a beloved figure in pop culture.

Fan Engagement And Social Media Presence
