Rapper and business mogul 50 Cent is celebrating a significant milestone for his media ventures. The multi-hyphenate entrepreneur recently took to Instagram to share that his action-focused streaming channel has claimed the top spot on LG TV.

“@50centaction is #1 on LG Tv now 🔥💪🏽different kinda flex. All Roads Lead to Shreveport 🎥 let’s work!” 50 Cent wrote in his Instagram post, accompanied by his image and the caption ‘Highest-rated fast channel’.

A Growing Media Empire

This announcement follows a previous post where the rapper mentioned that his action channel was performing well on both Roku and LG TV platforms. “@50centaction is on fire 🔥 on Roku and LG TV 💣 BOOM💨,” he wrote just days earlier.

The G-Unit founder, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, has been steadily building his media portfolio over the years. After rising to fame as a rapper with hits like “In Da Club” and “Candy Shop,” 50 Cent has successfully transitioned into television production and content creation.

Jackson has made significant inroads in television production, particularly with the hit series “Power” on Starz, which he executive-produced. The show’s success led to multiple spin-offs, further cementing his position as a television powerhouse. His production company, G-Unit Film & Television Inc., has been behind various shows and films that have resonated with audiences.

Shreveport Connections

The reference to Shreveport in his post suggests that the rapper-turned-producer has projects in development or production in the Louisiana city. This connection to Shreveport has appeared in several of his recent posts.

In one such post from earlier this month, he wrote, “From the Top of NewYork, SHREVEPORT vibes I’m on 10,” indicating his focus on projects connected to the city.

The entertainment industry has increasingly looked to Louisiana for production, thanks to the state’s tax incentives for film and television production. It appears 50 Cent is capitalizing on these opportunities for his content creation ventures.

Controversy Surrounding Film Project

While celebrating his streaming success, 50 Cent has also been vocal about challenges with another project. In recent posts, he’s mentioned issues with a film titled “Skill House,” expressing frustration about the production.

“This guy Ryan Kavanaugh is doing everything in his power to make me kill this movie. This one is going in the trash 🗑️🎞️ CAN!” he posted, referring to film producer Ryan Kavanaugh.

In another post, he stated, “They can’t release this MOVIE SKILL HOUSE without my signature which they do not have. 👀what kinda business are they doing? I’d hate to have to demonstrate 🤷.”

These posts highlight the business challenges that sometimes occur behind the scenes in entertainment production, even for established figures like 50 Cent.

Beyond Entertainment

Outside of his media ventures, 50 Cent continues to promote his other business interests, including his cognac brand Branson Cognac and champagne line Le Chemin du Roi, which he frequently tags in his social media posts.

The rapper has built a reputation not just for his music and entertainment productions but also for his business acumen. From his early investment in Vitamin Water, which reportedly netted him between $60-100 million when Coca-Cola acquired the company, to his current portfolio of businesses, 50 Cent has demonstrated a knack for entrepreneurship.

What’s Next For 50 Cent?

With his action channel now claiming the top spot on LG TV, 50 Cent seems poised to continue expanding his media footprint. The mention of Shreveport suggests that viewers can expect new content in the pipeline, potentially filmed or produced in the Louisiana city.

As he continues to navigate both successes and challenges in the entertainment industry, 50 Cent’s diversified business approach appears to be paying dividends, particularly in the streaming space, where his action channel is now finding significant audience engagement.

For fans of action content and 50 Cent’s productions, this announcement signals that there’s likely more to come from the entrepreneur’s media ventures as he continues to build on his success in the competitive streaming landscape.
